Morning Mindfulness & Movement
Light yoga, breathing, music, or dance to center the body and mind for learning.
8:00 – 8:30 AM
Morning Meeting / Circle Time
Songs, calendar, weather, emotions check-in, and discussion of the daily theme. Builds SEL and communication.
8:30 – 9:30 AM
Learning Centers / Early Literacy & Fine Motor Exploration
Play-based rotations including letters, shapes, colors, storytelling, puzzles, and sensory bins.
9:30 – 9:45 AM
Morning Snack
Healthy snack and hydration break. Reinforces nutrition habits and social interaction.
9:45 – 11:00 AM
Outdoor Play / Gross Motor Exploration
Playground time, nature walks, tricycles, chalk, or ball play. Builds physical strength, confidence, and teamwork.

Creative & Cognitive Block (STEAM)
Thematic projects integrating art, early science, and math concepts through hands-on exploration and discovery.

Family-Style Lunch & Clean-Up
Children help set and clear the table, share conversation, and practice table manners. Encourages community and independence.

Storytime & Mindful Wind-Down
Read-aloud, calming music, or guided breathing to transition to rest time.

Rest / Quiet Time
Naps or quiet activities like books, soft toys, or listening to gentle music. Promotes self-regulation and restoration.
2:30 – 3:00 PM
Wake-Up & Transition
Gentle wake-up with soft lighting and quiet voices. Elementary & middle school after-school participants begin arriving between 2:30–3:00 PM.
3:00 – 3:30 PM
Afternoon Snack
Shared snack time for daycare and after-school students. Encourages connection and healthy eating habits.
3:30 – 4:30 PM
Afternoon Enrichment Block / Homework Hour
• Ages 2–5: Rotating enrichment (music, dance, yoga, art, gardening, sensory play).
• After-School (Elem & Middle): Dedicated homework hour with quiet workspace and staff support.
4:30 – 5:00 PM
SEL & Restorative Circle
Reflection on the day, gratitude sharing, conflict resolution, and mindfulness. Encourages emotional growth and community connection.
5:00 – 5:30 PM
Free Play & Dismissal
Open play indoors or outdoors, reading corner, or art station. Calm, unhurried transition to home.
